So stylistic of you man, but at the same time she seems so real, something about her give the illusion of reality and a down to earth kinda feeling

thanks, it's actually a lot of really thick gesso that i swirled and scratched into, then scanned, cut up and pieced back together.

there are a lot of elements of this piece, and i like how they work together ... most notably, the ferocious steam from her mug, the cross and seemingly-russian-iconic reference in juxtaposition to the skull, rich textures and layering, and how the background revolves around her head.

why sandra's theory?
